Okay, I'm assuming that the woman is not straddling the man's chest. I assume that there is a genital component to this event, that the shock was a result of orgasm, and that it helped the woman get there as well (again, perhaps).

Other than that, I remain utterly clueless.

When a defibrillator (ICD) gives a shock to a person to pull him or her out of a dangerous heart rhythm, the person they are touching (in this case, during sex) gets shocked too. In the case of Dr. Wes's patient, it sounds like the ICD fired and made their sex life a little more adventurous.
